Eligibility Criteria and Post Details:

Indian citizens having following minimum qualification are eligible to apply:

1. General Duty (GD)/ (Pilot/navigator):

Age-  Born between 01 july 1998 to 30 jun 2002 (Both dates iclusive).
Gender: Male
 
Educational Qulaification:
(i). Should hold a degree of recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

(ii). Mathematics and Physics as subject upto Intermediate or class 12th of 10+2+3 scheme of education or education or equivalent with minimum 55% marks in each subject. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55%in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.


2. General Duty (Women-SSA)

Age- born between 01 jul 998 to 30 jun 2002 (Both dates inclusive).
Gender- Female
Educational Qualification:
(i). Should hold a degree of recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

(ii). Mathematics and Physics as subject upto Intermediate or class 12th of 10+2+3 scheme of education or education or equivalent with minimum 55% marks in each subject. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55%in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.


3. Commercial Pilot License (SSA) 

Age- Born between 01 jul 1998 to 30 jun 2004 (both dates inclusive).

Gender-Male/Female

Educational Qualifications-
(i). Should have passed 12th class or equivalent with physics and mathematics as subjects and should have scored minimum of 55% marks in each of the subjects (i.e. physics 55% & Mathematics 55%).

The candidates who have completed diploma are also eligible, provided they should possess and aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

(i). Should possess current Commercial Pilot License issued/ validated by Director General Civil Aviation on the date of submission of application.


4. Technical (Mechanical)

Age- Born between 01 july 1998 to 39 jun 2002 (Both dates inclusive).

Gender- Male

Educational qualification:

(i). Should hold an Engineering degree of recognized university in Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

                                                                                OR

Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognized by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE).

(ii). Mathematics and physics as subject upto intermediate or class 12th of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% marks in each subject. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

 

5.Law Entry

Age- Born between 01 jul 1993 to 30 jun 2002 (Both dates inclusive).

Gender- Male/Female

Educational Qualification:

A degree in Law from a recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate marks.


*Short Service appointment (SSA)- Short Service Appointment as Assistant Commandant is for a period of 08 years which may be extended to 10 years and further extendable upto 14 years.

*Candidates applying for General Duty Entry Scheme (Male only) will be considered for Pilot/ Navigator on successful completion of basic training at INA Ezhimala.


Note.

(i).  Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidatesis applicable only if post are reserved for them.

(ii).  Maximum 5% relaxation in aggregate in the degree certificate for SC/ST candidates. NO relaxation is applicable for 12th class marks except CPL-SSA entry.
